Sifu Damien Chauremootoo

Sifu Damien Chauremootoo is the Founder and Chief Instructor of Empower Tactical in Melbourne, Australia.

 

With over 30 years of martial arts experience, he has trained in Wing Chun Kung Fu, Shaolin Kung Fu, Karate, Aikido, Boxing, Kickboxing, Wushu, and Capoeira. Damien is a direct student of Grandmaster William Cheung and has dedicated his life to preserving traditional martial arts while adapting their teachings to empower people in the modern world.

 

As an instructor, mentor, and community leader, Damien works extensively with schools, businesses, and community organisations, using martial arts as a vehicle to develop confidence, discipline, resilience, and personal growth.

 

He is honoured to serve as a representative of the Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Federation and remains committed to promoting the values, traditions, and future development of authentic Chinese martial arts.
