Master Bruce Corles

Master Sifu Bruce Corles — Founder Head Instructor, Lifestyle Martial Arts Australia

Master Bruce Corles has been training and teaching martial arts for 40 years. He began his training as a teenager in New Zealand, studying Karate and Kung Fu. After
moving to Queensland, Australia in the 1980s, he trained and competed as an amateur boxer. He later relocated to Melbourne, where he spent 20 years studying Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu under Grandmaster William Cheung at the World Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy. He was promoted to Gold Sash instructor in the early 1990s and became head instructor of the Australian association. In 1997, Grandmaster Cheung awarded him the rank of Master.

Master Corles has competed in kickboxing, boxing, and Sanda, and has coached numerous state and national champions in these disciplines, including 5 Golden Gloves boxing Champions.

He also studied Kung Fu weaponry and Tai Chi under World Wushu champion Master Liang 
Chang Xing.

Over the past 25 years, he has conducted seminars in Europe and North Africa and has organized national and international martial arts events. He coached Australian athletes at the 2013 World Games in Malaysia, the 2014 Junior World Games in Turkey, and the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China.

He currently teaches Wing Chun Kung Fu, boxing, kickboxing, and Sanda to all age groups
at Lifestyle Martial Arts Australia.
